Company History

People the world over have enjoyed bathing in natural springs combining heat, minerals, and buoyancy for thousands of years. By the 1960's new innovations and equipment were introduced, such as pumps (to move water) and therapy jets that mixed air and water to create hydrotherapy. This is the same time period that people began combining these innovations with large wooden round tubs banded from old wine barrels, which gave birth to the term "Hot Tub". The earliest hot tub technology started out simple, but advances came quickly from a few early pioneers with vision.

In 1976, L.A. Spas became one of the first pioneers to utilize modern day techniques including vacuum forming spa shells from acrylic utilizing reinforced fiberglass, developing Reverse Mold Technology (RMT), recessing therapy jets, adding pillows for comfort, integrating fiber optic lighting for mood and style - thus developing the modern day “Hot Tub” or “Spa.” These enhancements changed the shape and feel of how true hydrotherapy, total relaxation, and luxurious leisure lifestyle comfort could be obtained in a spa. Today, L.A. Spas is recognized as one of highest quality and most innovative pioneers of the “Modern Day Hot Tub.” L.A. Quadrant Therapy System

L.A. Spas has designed the Quadrant Therapy System to strategically place a select group of jets in specific seats to focus on the primary muscle groups in the body, including neck and shoulder, full back, arms and hands, legs and feet. Each seat is designed to deliver a specific massage including the delivery of soft or deep tissue pressure for optimum therapy. As specific acupressure points on the body are massaged, the muscle tension is released, naturally promoting circulation. By targeting acupressure points, L.A. Spas can effectively relieve daily stresses optimizing the bodies natural healing process.

Ultimate Entertainment Package

Experience the ultimate in visual and sound therapy with the Ultimate Entertainment Package. The system includes a 17" flat screen LCD TV with a high performance In-Tune Stereo System (AM/FM, MP3 and CD Player) and the Ultimate Wireless Remote Control, which allows you to control the TV, DVD, CD and basic spa functions without leaving the comfort of your spa. The 17" flat screen LCD TV is mounted on a swing arm that can be extended directly over the spa and rotated for ease of viewing. The Ultimate Entertainment Package is available on every L.A. Ultimate Wireless Remote Control

We invite you to sit back and relax with the ease and convenience of the Ultimate Wireless Remote Control. This waterproof IR remote allows you to control the basic functions of your spa, such as the jets and lights. You can also control the optional CD/AM/FM Stereo, and the Ultimate Entertainment System with our 17" LCD TV, DVD/CD/AM/FM player. It's the perfect combination of control and convenience!
