Master Spas’ EXERSWIM® Technology
Transforms
Ordinary Pools into Personal Fitness Facilities
FORT WAYNE, IN, April 2007 — Master Spas® proudly introduces its
new, patented EXERSWIM® Portable Swim Current Generator, the pool
industry’s most innovative aquatic exercise machine to-date.
ExerSwim transforms nearly any size or type of pool into a private
fitness center with its ultra smooth, wide, and variable current
that provides resistance fitness training and in-line, lapless
swimming for amateur to professional athletes, children of all ages,
senior adults, and swimming enthusiasts alike.
ExerSwim uses a patented propulsion system that uses a unique
propeller design to create a wide, deep current flowing in only one
direction for a smoother, more effective swimming experience without
the short lap-and-turn of conventional pool swimming. The speed is
fully adjustable from simple to strenuous by turning the dial to a
“swim number,” ranging from 0 to 60; and ExerSwim’s versatility
promotes a variety of fitness regimens from traditional swimming,
jogging or walking in place, or light hydra-therapy exercise.
The portability of the ExerSwim poolside generator is designed
specifically to travel, install, and store in minutes with minimal
space requirements; the CrossTrainer 24 and ProTrainer 36 models
measure approximately three-feet high by two-feet wide. Each is
self-contained and solidly constructed with marine-grade,
submersible, and corrosion-resistant parts, and rechargeable, low
voltage batteries that provide several hours of enjoyment and
recharge quickly using standard electrical hook-up.
“Developing the ExerSwim brand is a wonderful extension of our
existing spa lines,” stated , president of Master Spas. “We are
continually working to create better solutions for discerning
homeowners and are especially pleased with the overwhelmingly
positive response to ExerSwim and its versatility and adaptability
in creating greater backyard pool enjoyment.”
ExerSwim models are designed to provide customized fitness and are
ideal for building strength and endurance with a low impact on
joints and muscles. The ExerSwim CrossTrainer 24 is ideal for the
average swimmer or water fitness enthusiast; the ProTrainer 36 is
designed for advanced swimmers seeking to improve endurance and
technique as part of a concentrated training program. More
