Ordering Custom Hot Tub Spa Covers:
By ordering this spa
cover, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions below:
Spa covers are all custom made and therefore not returnable or cancelable for
any reason. Once the manufacturing process begins you will not be able to cancel
or make any changes to the order. All sales are final.
All Templates and measurements supplied by customers for the purpose of
manufacturing a spa cover will be made to those measurements. However, due to
the manufacturing process there is up to a 1/2” tolerance on all measurements.
This will not affect the cover fitting on the spa. PoolAndSpa.com and Prestige
Spa Covers will not be held responsible for any errors in measuring due to
customer error.
Standard foams are 4” x 2” tapered foam (Upgrades are available)
VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT THE DELIVERY OF
YOUR SPA COVER
New Custom Spa Covers take 2-3 weeks for
delivery. Clearance Spa Covers take 10-14 days for delivery. Due to the size of
spa covers, they are shipped by a common carrier freight company. No tracking
number will be provided to you for the shipment. 12-48 hours before your spa
cover is going to be delivered you will receive a phone call from the freight
company to set up a delivery time. You must be home to sign for the
delivery. Do not allow the freight company to persuade you into leaving a “Note”
on your door allowing them to deliver the cover without you home. This is the
same as signing for it and you will be responsible for any repairs or shipping
charges incurred if the cover needs to be sent back for repair. This is a “Curb
Side” delivery, Meaning, that the truck driver will deliver the cover at your
curbside or on your driveway/garage. They will not install it for you nor will
they take away your old spa cover.
When your new spa cover arrives please open the box and inspect the cover for
any damage before you sign for it. In the unlikely event that your new spa cover
is damaged, please do not sign for it. Note all damage, no matter how small, on
the delivery ticket, refuse delivery and call us right away. If you do not
inspect the package contents or if you sign for the spa cover and then notice
there is damage to it, any damage claims are the sole responsibility of you, the
purchaser, and may be denied by the freight carrier. You will be responsible for
all costs in getting the cover sent back to Prestige and having it repaired.
When you sign for the spa cover you are stating that the spa cover has arrived
in good condition and you are willing to accept it as is. Poolandspa.com,
Prestige spa covers and the chosen shipping company will not be held responsible
for damages to a spa cover that has been accepted & signed for. If your spa
cover is delivered damaged and you refuse delivery, it will be sent back to
Prestige for replacement. You do not have to do anything else. It will then be
re-shipped to you - all of this will be free of charge to you. Re-delivery time
is approx. 2 weeks.
If you schedule a delivery appt. with the trucking company and you are not there
when they arrive, they may charge you a re-delivery and/or storage fee.
Poolandspa.com and Prestige Spa Covers have no control over this policy. It is
at the sole discretion of the shipping company who is delivering your cover.
Now, we don’t mean to worry you or scare you, because 99% of hot tub cover
deliveries go off without any issues and damages to spa covers are very rare.
Damages have happened in the past and we need to make you aware of the
possibility that it could happen. Poolandspa.com and Prestige spa covers will
not be held responsible for damages or delays in shipping caused by the shipping
company. Therefore, spa covers cannot be cancelled or returned for credit due to
damages or delays in delivery. The cover will be repaired or replaced, at
Prestige spa covers discretion, and resent back to you. Redelivery time is
approx. 2 Weeks.
Prestige Spa covers come with a Pro-rated Manufacturers warranty for 5 years
against water absorption of the foams only. Poolandspa.com DOES NOT warranty
these covers. It is a Manufacturer warranty. If you have any questions or
concerns regarding warranties, please do not hesitate to give us a call.
However, please realize that the ultimate decision regarding any warranty claim
is at the sole discretion of Prestige Spa Covers (the Manufacturer) and not
Poolandspa.com.
Due to repeated customer mistakes, and/or out-and-out Internet Fraud & Theft, we
will vigorously enforce the above terms and conditions, and we will prosecute,
to the fullest extent of the law, any unlawful chargebacks, or attempts to steal
merchandise from either Poolandspa.com or Prestige Spa Covers, regarding any hot
tub spa cover order placed online, over the phone or via fax.
SPECIAL NOTE:
Please realize
that if you are having us ship your cover to a freight forwarder who will ship
it to you. The trucking company, Poolandspa.com and Prestige Spa Covers will not
be held responsible for any damages that may occur after the cover is delivered
to the freight forwarder. Once it is in their hands it becomes their
responsibility and any damages are the responsibility of you and your freight
forwarder. Please tell your freight forwarder to inspect the cover before
accepting it on your behalf.
